| 1. Can noise be removed? | Partially, but not completely. The encoder only handles audio encoding. |
| 2. Is AAC the only encoding format? Are other formats supported? | Yes, other formats are not supported. |
| 3. What is the maximum AAC encoding bitrate? | Up to 256K is fine. |
| 4. Is there a one-to-one or one-to-many network transmission device? As long as the audio signal is plugged in, the other end can play the audio. Can two devices transmit over the network without a server? Are one-to-one and one-to-many both fine? | Yes. Use two audio encoders, one for encoding and one for decoding. No server is needed. Both one-to-one and one-to-many work fine. |
| 5. Does the audio input need power, or is a microphone enough? | Connect directly to line out, for example the audio output of a phone or a mixer. |
| 6. So plugging a microphone in directly will not work, right? | The microphone must be one with line out output. |
| 7. There is an SD slot; does it support playback or recording? | It supports recording. |
| 8. Can an RCA (lotus head) audio cable be connected? | No, it must be converted to 3.5mm first. |
| 9. Are passive pickup microphones supported? | Yes. |
| 10. What is the green connector at the back? | The green one is the 232 and 485 serial ports, reserved and currently unused and unavailable. |
