Camera FAQ

Question Answer
1. Does the camera support secondary development? Is there a development document? Yes, secondary development through HTTP interfaces is supported. HTTP interface document: In-site Docs Center
2. How does the camera push streams to a self-built server? The server needs to generate an RTMP push address first
3. Is it compatible with Hikvision or Dahua NVRs? Yes
4. Is motion detection alarm supported? We need to remotely call the SDK on the server to obtain motion detection alarm data Currently not supported; only remote video retrieval is supported
5. What is the resolution of 5MP? Can it be adjusted? The main stream is 2880x1620, and the resolution can be adjusted
6. What is the power consumption of the camera? How long can a 30000mAh battery last? The power consumption is about 12V 100mA, which can last about 30 hours
7. Can it take photos and upload them to the cloud server at scheduled times, for example automatically uploading one image per minute? Yes
8. Is the camera system Android or Linux? Linux
9. Does the camera have a Bluetooth interface? A Bluetooth module can be configured
10. Can recording be started and stopped remotely? Yes
11. Is there photo capture control? Yes, there is photo capture control and a screenshot function
12. The camera image is upside down. Where can I adjust it in the backend? There is image rotation in the settings; use whichever orientation looks correct
13. Is 24-hour recording supported? How many days can it record at most? Will it be cleared automatically when full? 24-hour recording is supported. How many days it can record depends on the size of the memory card. When full it will be cleared, because it is loop recording
14. Do the 4G and WiFi versions support wired networks? Yes
15. Does the 4G version also support WiFi? No. You can only choose one of 4G or WiFi (the SIM card only supports 4G, not 5G; WiFi only supports 2.4G, not 5G)
16. If pushing the stream directly to my own server, what requirements does the server need? It needs to support the RTMP protocol
17. Does the 4G camera support APN cards? APN cards are not supported; only ordinary unrestricted cards are supported
18. Can it push streams to a locally deployed streaming media server? Yes
29. Is the power interface DC5.5-2.1? Yes
20. Are the extra interfaces on the board available? Is IO still available? There is TTL and there is an IO port
21. Is there complete sample code for secondary development? How to get the JS code? Android sample code can be provided; for the JS interface call sample code, you can open the webpage https://[device IP:9001/ in Chrome and right-click to view the source code
22. Are there any restrictions on 4G cards? Are IoT cards OK? What about destination-restricted cards? Unrestricted cards are supported and IoT cards are OK. For destination-restricted cards, you need to contact the operator to open these two domain names and ports and add them to the whitelist
23. Does the camera support cross-network-segment WebRTC viewing? Yes. The protocol needs to be tunneled through the cloud platform. If the tunneling succeeds, one terminal can view across network segments without generating traffic fees; if the tunneling fails, it needs to be forwarded through the cloud platform and traffic fees will be charged, with no limit on the number of terminals
24. Does it support saving to a network hard disk? Not supported for stock products; network cloud storage docking requires customization and is charged
25. Does the 4G camera support 4G data cards from Taiwan? Yes, the APN needs to be set accordingly
26. What is the format of scheduled screenshot images? JPG format
27. What is the normal working voltage? Greater than 10.8 V and lower than 13.2V
28. Does the camera support RTSP push streaming? RTSP push streaming is not supported
29. How are your 4G cards charged? Hello, here is our 4G card charging method
30. How do I check the data balance of your 4G card and how do I recharge it? Search for the WeChat mini program: XST Video Link, or scan the QR code below, enter the SIM card number or ICCID, then bind it to check the balance and recharge:
31. Can it switch between landscape and portrait? Is it adaptive, i.e. holding the phone vertically gives portrait and turning the phone horizontal automatically gives landscape? You can switch between landscape and portrait, but it is not adaptive; you need to manually set it in the camera backend
32. Which recording storage methods does the camera support? Memory card storage is supported; it can be connected to an NVR; cloud storage requires separate docking and is charged. Currently it can be docked with Alibaba Cloud storage or Tencent Cloud storage, with a docking fee of 5000 per cloud; other cloud storage requires separate contact with our technical team to evaluate the docking fee
33. Do you have your own cloud service platform? Yes (there is also a test link)
