1. Device Introduction

A video streaming device that reads video files from a USB disk and pushes them to major live streaming platforms (Douyin / Kuaishou).
###Note: The USB disk must be formatted as exFAT!!!
###Supported input video format: mp4(h264)
###Output stream formats: (non-AAC audio in the video file will be automatically transcoded to AAC), which can be pushed to major live streaming platforms by simply filling in the push address

2. Login Page

This device is configured through a web management interface and supports management and configuration from PCs, tablets, mobile phones and other terminals. On PC, Google Chrome is recommended for device management.

The default factory IP address of this device is 192.168.0.15. You can use our dedicated device search assistant software to change the device IP (see the device search assistant manual for instructions), then enter the device IP address in Google Chrome to open the device management login page. Enter the username and password. The initial default username is admin and the password is admin. Click OK to enter the device configuration page. As shown below:

Figure 1

3. Status Overview

The home page of the configuration page shows the device running status, as shown below:

Figure 2

Note: The RTSP traffic must not exceed the maximum hardware capability!!!

CPU usage must not exceed 90%.

3.1 Interface Introduction

The status display function is used to show the current system running status, including software version, network information, real-time RTSP/RTMP bandwidth information, running time, CPU and memory usage, and channel running status.

3.2 PC Time

After clicking the Sync PC Time button, the device time can be set to the time of the PC currently accessing it. The device time cannot be set manually.

Figure 3

4. Channel Settings

The channel settings page is used to configure the RTSP video source address, push address, recording switch, streaming switch and other functions of each channel.

Figure 4

The configuration procedure of the channel settings page is as follows:
4.1

4.1 Channel Switch

The channel switch is used to enable or disable a channel. Once disabled, all pull and push functions are disabled.

4.2 Channel Preview

Channel preview is used to preview the added RTSP video source, so you can check whether the added video source address is the one you need.

4.3 Video Source Address(RTSP/RTMP/UDP/HTTP)

The video source address is used to set the stream address of the video source. For most cameras that support the ONVIF protocol, you can click the search button next to it to search. RTMP/UDP/HTTP addresses need to be entered manually.

4.4 Video Source Search

4.4.1 Search Button

!!!Note that smartH264 or smartH265 must not be enabled on the camera

Used to search for mp4 files in the USB disk, as shown below:

Figure 5

4.4.3 Save the RTSP Video Source Address

After username and password authentication succeeds, the camera list shows the stream numbers, where 0 is the main stream, 1 is the sub stream, and 2 is the third stream. Select the stream number you want to add and click Save to Channel to save the RTSP video source address to the corresponding channel.

Figure 7

4.5 RTMP Push Address

The RTMP push address is used to set the RTMP push address. This address is provided by the RTMP streaming server. Please contact the streaming service provider to obtain it. For example, Douyin requires the Xiaohulu Live Assistant, and for Kuaishou refer to docs.html

4.6 RTMP Push Switch

Used to enable or disable RTMP streaming

4.7 Recording Switch

Used to enable or disable recording of the video source

4.8 HLS Switch

Used to determine whether to enable the HLS output function. The stream generation of the streaming platform also depends on this switch. For the streaming platform manual, please visit:
docs.html

4.9 Video Format

Used to display the encoding format of the video source, H.264 or H.265. Most platforms only support H.264 RTMP streaming. Please confirm with the streaming platform provider.

4.10 Pull Bandwidth

Used to display the bitrate bandwidth of the video source address

4.11 Push Bandwidth

Used to display the bitrate bandwidth of RTMP streaming

4.12 Advanced

The advanced settings are used to manually configure the compatibility mode, audio switch and UDP function of the RTSP video source address.

Figure 9

4.14 External Audio Source Configuration

On the advanced configuration page, we can enable audio. In [Audio Source], select and enter a network audio address.

5. PTZ Control

This device is compatible with all PTZ controls that support the ONVIF protocol, and can be used to control IPC cameras with a PTZ. Select the corresponding channel number to control the PTZ of the IPC camera corresponding to that channel, as shown below:

Figure 10

6. Split-Screen Live Streaming

The split-screen live streaming function supports live streaming of multiple channels at the same time, and supports 4-screen, 9-screen and 16-screen settings. Move the mouse over the corresponding display area and a channel selection button will pop up. Click the channel selection button and select the channel to be displayed in that area.

Figure 11

7. Recording Playback

The recording playback function requires local storage support, such as an SD card or hard disk, and is supported only on some models. This function supports video stream storage, playback and video download.

By selecting the date and channel number, you can play back the video of the specified date and channel (the video must have been stored). Recording download supports downloading video of any time range within the 24 hours of the selected date. Simply select the start time and end time below, then click Start Download to download the recording to your local device for saving and playback.

Figure 12

8. Network Settings

The network settings are used to set the device IP address. This video encoder supports virtual network port settings. The local network is the physical interface, and the local network must be configured for network access. The virtual network is used to set the virtual network port for special cross-segment applications. Only the IP and mask can be set for the virtual network port; the gateway cannot be set. The 4G network is supported only on specific models.

9.4 Backup and Restore

Used to back up and restore the device configuration information, which can be used for batch configuration

Figure 19

9.6 Restore Factory Settings

Used to restore the device factory settings, including IP, default password, channel settings, etc. It is recommended to back up the current settings before restoring.

Figure 21

9.7 Reboot Device

Manually reboot the device

Figure 22

9.8 Scheduled Reboot

In some scenarios the device needs automatic maintenance. You can set the scheduled reboot period on the scheduled reboot page. You can choose daily reboot or automatic reboot at a fixed interval.
Daily reboot:
When this option is selected, the remaining time and scheduled time parameters below can be ignored. The device will reboot at 03:00 every day.
Fixed interval reboot
When this option is selected, you need to set the scheduled time parameter in minutes. For example, if it is set to 60, the device will reboot every 60 minutes. The remaining time below means how much time is left before the next reboot. A negative value means the device will reboot immediately.
Note: When this item is set for the first time, the device will reboot immediately. (A negative remaining time means the device is about to reboot.)

Figure 23

9.12 Scheduled Streaming

Set the device to stream during the configured time period. Currently six time periods are supported.

Streaming start time: sets the time when the video encoder starts streaming

Streaming end time: sets the time when the video encoder stops streaming
